Narrow Escape On Baltimore Lake Route Accident
Last Monday near midnight an accident occurred on the Fairfield Branch of the Balt Lake Route from Lohi Junction to Toplift The Wirsbex line on the return trip. A loaded car carrying rock broke a brake rail causing a coach to roll off the embankment after being struck by several other cars. Thirteen people were aboard including J H Laboriots Robert Kinder and family and Mrs Zimmerman who suffered a dislocated shoulder. None of the injuries are expected to be serious according to Dr Blockey.

Estimates from BEngview L. C. Keleey of Salt Lake propose damming west of City Park at about 40 feet elevation to water 3,000 acres. He married Miss Anne Roose, had three surviving children, and after her death married Miss Christena L. Diega, with seven children total. He lived in the gospel, suffered illness, and passed away with surviving children listed as Ed Cox, Mrs. H. Ashton, George Hammer, Samuel Hammer, and Joseph Hammer.
