Runaway Couple Located in Lehi After Escape
Dave Palmer and Mrs. Josie Baker, once living as man and wife in Lovelock Nevada, fled together on June 20. Authorities traced them to Lehi where they stayed with Mrs. Child and later at State Street and a local blacksmith shop. Palmer boarded a northbound train but jumped off before reaching Sandy. Baker’s mother and Pia ter arrived, Palmer left with Gene Smith driving him to the junction. Baker’s mother pressed no charges. the trio plans to return to Lovelock.
