Last Saturday evening the Young Men's Republican Club of Lehi met at the Ross building to enlist new members and elect officers for the benefit of prospective members. About thirty joined. officers include Charles Beck president and Jonas Holdsworth second vice president among others.
The club aims to promote Republican principles, form Civil Government debating classes, and support Republican campaigns. It invites all Republicans to attend the primary meeting next Saturday evening to select worthy men for office. Joan Kusson, Secretary.
From startup through Sunday last the Sugar Factory has produced over twice the beet amount used in the first year of operation. The sugar made to date is said to be of equal or finer quality than any U S factory. Supt. Gardner expresses strong satisfaction with this year’s results.

Results will be sent to the Government Department of Agriculture in Washington.
