School corporal punishment leads to assault charge
On Tuesday afternoon teacher W. L. Mc Cormick at No. 1 township school punished John Chafers son aged about fifteen for rule violation. Chafers secured a warrant for McCormick’s arrest on assault. the case before Squire Ross was continued until Saturday.
