Reformed Church to Reopen in Myerstown on Nov 1

Myerstown Pa Oct 29 1925 the Reformed church interior remodeled will reopen Sunday November 1 with a program of features including a new Moller pipe organ and an indirect lighting system. A week of services ends with Holy Communion on November 8. A special program with musical artists and speakers is planned.

Deaths and Funerals for Miss Elizabeth Dretz

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1 pm at the residence of Risser in Farland. The Kimmerlingsenformed church hosted services led by Rev. Peters. Interment followed at Kimmerlings cemetery. H C Rohland supervised arrangements. Casket flowers came from friends and relatives.

Martha H Showers Dies at 17 After Illness

Martha H Showers of West Annville died Monday after a six week illness. She was 17 years 6 months and 29 days old. Employed previously in a hosiery mill she was a member of the First Lutheran Sunday School in Annville. She is survived by her parents Steven and Mrs Showers and a brother Wayne and grandmother Mrs Emma Showers.

Samuel H Ganser to Retire From Reading Company

Samuel H. Ganser of Palmyra, a switchman in Reading Company service for 42 years and 9 months, is slated for retirement and pension on a public order. The additions to the roll of honor number eleven were named since the 58th issue of Faithful Service published September 1, 1925.
