Kenneth Burns Escapes York Jail Recaptured Near Creek
Kenneth Burns who was serving six months for automobile theft escaped this morning from York County Jail as he was ordered to hang wash in the yard. He was recaptured about a half hour later hiding in bushes along Codorong Creek, a half mile from the prison, afterwarden Keech received a phone call. Burns had been arrested in Harrisburg months earlier and pleaded guilty to the auto theft charge.
