National Guard of the State Seeks Armament Upgrades
The National Guard of Pennsylvania lacks machine guns aeroplanes or wheelers. It may secure these before mobilization camp returns, if the Federal government does not furnish them from Frankford or Schuylkill arsenals before the new army law takes effect. Machine guns will be provided. aviators offers are declined due to no appropriation. Regimental commands prepare provisional units to use federal law provisions.
