Body of 11 year old recovered from creek near Maple Grove Park

Senate panel rejects wealth tax proposals in new session

Husband Fired Shot But Didn’t Mean To Hit Wife
Wellsboro, Pa. Mrs. Tyna Krebs, 48, was severely wounded by a rifle shot through a screen door. Samuel Krebs, her husband, 66, admitted the shooting saying he did not intend to hit her. Police used tear gas to detain him from a cellar hiding place after an argument. A rifle, shotgun and pistols were found. Physicians expect Mrs. Krebs to recover. No charges filed yet.

State Liquor Control Board agents raided a farm near Colebrook Camp on Wednesday arresting Frank Keener 58 on liquor law violations.
