Magnificent new St Mark's Reformed sanctuary dedicated at Eighth and Mifflin amid large crowds. Services in German and English feature Rev. Wotring Sechler Ranck Bremer Klopp and Mr Lemberger. church notes history, architecture, and donors enriching the 1887 building.
The obituary notes Late Gyrus L Mark born July 1 1824 at Jones town died March 7 1899 in Lewistown Pa. Survived by widow and daughter Mrs Ellen A Parker of Carlisle. Funeral from daughter’s home. Bequest of five thousand dollars to St Mark’s Reformed Church Lebanon Pa. Service details describe a day of dedication with Rev Calvin Fisher and Dr Joseph Lemberger among speakers, choir, organist Dorothea Krall, and sermons by Rev John H Sechter and Rev E S Bremer.
The long service for Mrs Goodman, born September 11, 1825 in Jonestown, who died April 20, 1502, highlighted St Mark's Reformed Church dedication. She helped start Sunday school and supported the church faithfully, with a large funeral attended by many. The German dedicatory sermon drew from Nehemiah 10:29 as Rev Wotring and Rev Ranck spoke English, and a later service invited locals to an evening program with multiple pastors.

A large consignment of gentled road and racing horses arrives in the city and will be sold at public sale on Thursday, June 20 at 1 o'clock. The stock includes Thelma, Dude, McGinty, Strangler, Lou H, Star Hornet, Parkwood, Buck Isles, Chester Boy, Dono, Captain Smith, Guy Sanders, Beatrice W, Prime Raven, Buck, Dandy, and Handsome Jim. Ships from J Crouch & Son of Lafayette stock farm, Lafayette Indiana. horses are described with speeds, temperaments, and harness or trot notes.
The agitation for incorporating Annville into a first-class township continues across North and South Annville. The proposed division would cover four and a half miles east to west and one and a half miles north to south, including the cemetery, Kettering farm, and surrounding properties. Taxes would be reallocated to support enhanced municipal powers. no new officials would be created except three township commissioners who would serve without pay. Proponents call for rapid development and improved services, with one resident hoping for Annville to become the Chicago of the Lebanon Valley.
Albright College Myers town launches its twentieth commencement week with a Saturday music program in the chapel and a Sunday baccalaureate sermon by Rev. A J Brunner Pottsville. Foresters of America Lebanon Court No 219 held a public meeting at KG & pall North Ninth street with many friends in attendance. The court now has about 200 members with $1 292 in building shares, $1 622 24 receipts since Aug 16 1893, and $1 292 including paraphernalia. Sick benefits include physician services and $5 weekly while ill. $260 paid to members and $15 donated in ten months. Jarry Hoerner, a boy from Ramona near Myerstown, was brought to Good Samaritan hospital at 11 o clock Saturday night with a compound leg fracture after being struck by a train on the P and K railroad near his home. At Camp 254 P O S of A meeting William J Noll of Camp 64 Styerstown was endorsed for state president at Harrisburg in August and has also been endorsed by Camp 2 Avon with expected support from other city and county camps.
A group including Jos I Lemberger and Mrs Lemberger with Miss May Fletcher of Philadelphia, J Wi Redsecker and Mrs Martha J Ross with Miss Annie Beetem of Carlisle left for Harvey's Lake near Wilkes-Barre this morning to attend the 24th annual meeting of the Pennsylvania pharmaceutical association.

Stanley faces $15,000 bail on a treasurer embezzlement suit brought by Economy B and L Association receiver Woomer. Woomer alleges Stanley stole funds and books, falsified accounts, and concealed records, causing insolvency and damages to the association and its members. The suit seeks $25,000 in damages and restitution, with George M. Stanley held on a heavy bail as proceedings proceed in Dauphin County court.
Rev Thomas Kycett of Berrysburg Dauphin county preached the cornerstone sermon for the new United Evangelical lectures at fitted Humber. Officiating were Rev A F Trunner of Pottsville Rev A M Sampset Myerstown and Rev F Se christ pastor. The church will be one story including a tower and a stained glass window memorial to the late Rev Amos M Stirk presid ing elder of the Harrisburg United Evangelion district.
Funeral services for William J. Uhler were held at his home on North Tenth Street with Rev Schmauk officiating and interment at Mt Lebanon cemetery. A large delegation from Lebanon family company and Chemical fire insurance attended. John A. Goodyear, longtime master machinist at North Cornwall furnaces, had a 3 PM service at his Cornwall residence led by Rev Cook and Rev Bachman, with burial in Cornwall cemetery. John F Baney of Philadelphia visited his mother over the weekend.
