Escapes From Asylum Endangers P R Express at Harrisburg
Washington Lebo, recently declared insane again, escaped from the state hospital in Harrisburg and attempted to flag a Philadelphia and Reading express train at 3:50 p m. Special officer William Windsor stopped Lebo at the Manufacturers Branch crossing. Lebo said he wanted to go home and believed jumping the express would get him there. He gave evasive answers and was later captured and returned to Harrisburg for re confinement by asylum authorities.

The Lebanon County Historical Society seeks incorporation to fall under a new act approved May 21, 1901. The act allows counties to fund aging historical societies. eligibility requires organization, active 100 members paying at least two dollars, two annual public meetings, a museum, constitution and by laws, and elected officers. The local society has met all requirements except incorporation and will qualify for the appropriation after formal incorporation.

Distillery Property Sold by Urvan to Dawson Gingrich
The old rough stone distillery site along the Unton cans west of Tenth Street was sold Saturday afternoon by Auctioneer Charles F Urvan for the heirs. Daw son Gingrich, son of the late operator, bought the property and will convert it into an industrial plant.
