Floral bouquets arrived as Mrs Gerhart known as Grandma spoke kindly to all and refreshments were served by Mrs Sanel Shank and her sisters.
Edward Behney, conductor of a large A and R shifting engine crew, suffered a severe finger injury when the middle finger of his right hand was crushed between the lever and deadwood during a coupling. The finger was dressed but may require amputation.

Joseph Bonfanti, a well known fruit dealer on North Eighth Street, died after a wheel tire came loose while riding near Rexmont. He never regained consciousness after a hard fall. medical aid failed to save him. The obituary notes his immigrant life, wartime service, wife and two children who died, and burial plans at St Mary's cemetery.
Tonight Lebanon high school holds its annual commencement in the gymnasium with the faculty, graduates and families in attendance. The program features an overture chorus instrumental pieces, prayers, recitations, essays, orchestral selections, orations, diploma presentations, and a closing benediction by Rev J K Kaerr with city superintendent R Y McAdses presiding.
