Memorial Day brought sorrow and relief for James DiScuillo of 809 Maple Street after his son Nicholas was reported missing in action. A week ago two letters from Nicholas claimed he was well and serving in Italy, easing fear. Nicholas, who spoke Italian, had worked at Lebanon Steel Foundry before enlisting March 19, 1943. his brother John serves in the U S Navy.

Pvt. Guy Lane Dulabone, a Schaefferstown native and Heidelberg Township High School graduate, was killed in action in Italy on January 22, 1944. St Luke's Lutheran Church held a vesper with Rev.
