Fourteen girls, who perform daily hello-ing, were royally entertained with a full chicken and waffles meal, dancing, and games. They left at 8 p.m. and returned home in Lebanon as snow fell. Trial Date Set for Hartman Slaying Case in Gettysburg
In Gettysburg Pennsylvania rumors of a postponement for the Hartman trial are denied. Philip R Hartman of Annville faces charges of murdering Trooper Francis Li Haley on the Lincoln Highway and robbing Abbottstown State Bank. Helen Arnold ten year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Arnold of Route 4 and sister of Alice Arnold who died in a coast accident near home after colliding with an E and L trolley car lies in critical condition at Good Samaritan hospital. She suffers fractures to the leg arm and collarbone and internal injuries. Hospital reports say she is not out of danger.

Ralph H. Shay, son in law of a brewery employee, says he was an innocent victim of a raid led by Federal Enforcement Officer Thomas Maxey and State Police. His car, left in the brewery yard, was seized and later sent to Harrisburg. Shay sought redress from Lieut. Civil court term ends after abrupt morning delay
The January term of civil court closed after an abrupt morning break. Only one case remained, Mrs. Ethel Hartman v Allen Shaffer for about 150 dollars damages from an automobile accident. Shaffer sought a continuance, unavailable to attend Mannheim, and the jury was discharged. The case will be heard at the next civil court session. Gideon R.
