Lebanon plans a local children's band this fall with Magazine Club and city teachers. A. M. Thomas of Wilkinson, a specialist, will discuss the plan at a meeting for children eight to high school age and their parents on Thursday October 1 at 7 30 in the Chamber of Commerce hall. Thomas currently leads bands in Frankfort Spiceland Straughn Mt. Comfort Greenfield and Newcastle with school approval.

Looked Wrong Way Automobile Hit Near Zionsville Crossing
An Oldsmobile coach owned and driven by Ollie Lane was heavily damaged Tuesday afternoon when struck by an interurban car near Metzger Lumber Yard in Zionsville. Special Judge O B Ratcliffe filed conclusions of law and special findings of facts in the Fulwider brick plant case at Crawfordsville Indiana. He recommended judgments of 13390286 and costs and of 4500 and costs to be levied on the defendants. Judgment will be handed down Saturday. Plaintiffs are Leota Bunnell Walter A Fulwider and Benjamin Fulwider executors of Jacob Fulwider deceased who sued for 45000 damages alleging fraud in the sale of Standard Shale Brick stock on May 28 1921. Defendants include Emmett J Sutton E M Brown C R MacGaughey Walter Brown Victor Smock Wallace Himmelwright Walter Kimler and Fred W Shideler. Shideler heads Shideler Securities Co of Indianapolis. G A Shideler was named but died. The first judgment of 4500 and costs will be paid by Shideler Brown Sutton and Kimler. The case will be appealed to the state Supreme Court. Standard was originally a 5 000 000 corporation and 1500 000 stock was sold when suit was filed. Plant now operates under new management. Many Lebanon and Boone county residents were financially involved and lost in the failure.

Tragic Madison roadster plunges from bridge railing
A roadster carrying five persons plunged through an iron railing on a narrow bridge near Jeffersonville, killing Beatrice Watkins and Howard Brydon and injuring two others.
