Indianapolis Sept 23 An indictment may be returned by the Marion county grand jury stemming from a blaze at the residence of D C Stephenson formerly Klansman. Fire investigator Newman T Miller and assistants were in grand jury quarters as the April 17 fire damaged the heavily mortgaged home. The case ties to Stephenson’s jail time with Earl Klinck and Earl Gentry on Miss Madge Oberholtzer murder charges. Gasoline ignited in the basement about 1 30 am. Fire departments saved part of the $20 000 residence though furniture was removed and the property damaged. The probe spanned four states with many interviews conducted.

TWO ARE HURT IN ROYALTON CRASH
Mr and Mrs Guy Taylor of Danville Illinois were injured Tuesday morning in a collision between Royalton and Traders Point. Mrs Taylor suffered chest and hip injuries and was crushed under the Ford. She was in a serious condition in Indianapolis hospital. Mr Taylor also injured but not seriously. Robert Wallace, driver of the Nash that struck the Taylors, was arrested for reckless driving. Sheriff Saunders and Officer McCormick investigated. Wallace was towing a racing car and attempted to pass. the crash caused the Ford to overturn and pin Mrs Taylor. Eight men helped lift the car.
