Covington Road Paving Nears Completion in Indiana
Covington Indiana September 8 The cement slab on State Road 33 from the Illinois line east over five miles to the hill west of Covington is completed but not yet open as it cures. Contractor George T. Miller Lebanon reports excellent workmanship and the gravel from a local pit praised by state engineers. The paving, praised as the best stretch of concrete in Indiana, uses a heavier reinforcement and a larger slab than older specs.
