Collision investigation near Lebanon crosses state line
State Motor Police Officer Frank McCormick investigated an afternoon collision on the Jackson Highway about 20 miles south of Lebanon. Vehicles driven by Russell Sheer of Frankfort and Clarence Erp of this city collided. neither driver was injured. Erp gave his account and was questioned in Frankfort. Erp's car was taken to Johnson-Moore garage for repairs.

Labor Day Observed with Widespread Business Suspensions

The Rev and Mrs Hardy Lumb and their two children have reached New York City after a two month Europe tour. They will return to Lebanon next Wednesday and the Rev Mr Lumb will resume his pastorate at the Presbyterian church Sunday morning.
