William Edgar Haun a 72 year old retired railroader and Boone county resident died Thursday at Withams Hospital after a long illness. Born in Thorntown he taught near Sidney Illinois and worked 24 years as telegraph operator and agent for several railroads. He lived on a Lebanon area farm and is survived by wife Louisa McMullen two children five grandchildren and several siblings. Funeral Saturday at Central Christian church with Rev. John M. Horne officiating. Interment Oak Hill cemetery.
