Man Slaughter Charge in Franklin County Iowa
Jerome Isenhower son of George Isenhower was indicted in Hampton Iowa on a manslaughter charge tied to the death of his brother in law Charles Arthur Denger in Franklin County. He posted a 3000 bond and awaits trial next February with attorney M Ralston. Denger died about four weeks after a February altercation in which blows were exchanged. Denger who moved to Franklin County resided near Lebanon. Denger’s death was attributed to injuries from a blow alleged to be delivered by Isenhower. Denger was buried at Center Cemetery after returning to the county.
