Alumni Banquet A Huge Local Event At Lebanon High
About ninety attended the alumni banquet hosted by the Lebanon High School Alumni Association in the Methodist church basement. Toasts by Adney and others followed a four course dinner with college, fraternity colors, and senior class ribbons on display. The day also featured an open house for school buildings, exhibits in manual training and art, and a Senior class performance of Pygmalion and Galatea at the Grand Opera House with local orchestra and violinist Marie Dawson.

Richard Higgins 40, sexton at Pisgah Cemetery near Advance, hanged himself in the tool house. He had been released from the Central asylum after a prior confinement for insanity and recently erred locating a grave, prompting fears of another collapse. He left a widow and two children.

Increase of Library Plans at Greensburg Odd Fellows Home
Greensburg steps toward enlarging the library at the Odd Fellows Home as the Grand Lodge 1.0.0. F. opens its seventieth second semi annual gathering. A resolution urged every member in the state to obtain at least one book for this cause. Grand Secretary W. H. William Kincaid, 77, died at his home one mile south of Lebanon after a six week illness from uremic poisoning. Born October 17, 1880, in Decatur County, he married Margaret Isabelle McDonald in 1854. Survived by brother James Kincaid and sister Rhoda Ewick. funeral Friday at Hopewell Church, 11 a.m., with interment in Hopewell Cemetery, conducted by Rev. C. H. Carmichael.
