Frankfort reports say habeas corpus plans were to be filed in Boone circuit court for the return of Mrs. Virgil Wallace to her husband in Frankfort, but no action had been filed by 2 pm. The 14 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Egbert was found at 1903 West Barnet street after elopement in Illinois last April. Wallace, charged with encouraging delinquency, was jailed and later released on bond, then took the girl to Frankfort. The case drew criticism of Sheriff Saunders for accompanying the parents.

Large Orchestra to Play Cantata at Central Christian Church
An eighteen piece orchestra under Dewey Aklers will accompany the Garden of Flowers cantata with instrumental scores between acts. During Dedication Week the Lebanon Elks opened their new $60,000 club with a Jubilee meeting and initiatory service. Twenty two candidates were admitted, with guests from Frankfort, Kokomo, Crawfordsville and Indianapolis. The Ritualistic Team led by Ora Page performed the degree work impressively as new members were warmly welcomed in Elk style.
