Wife murdered husband held in La Grange Illinois
Frank Weller, 57, husband of Emma Weller, was arrested in Chicago after his wife's mangled body was found in her La Grange candy shop. Detectives noted his disheveled appearance and a black eye. Blood stains on his shirt prompted police to detain him for questioning once sober. Mrs. Weller, nicknamed "mother to La Grange's school children," was killed with an axe.

Prosper Six Dies At Home Near Sheridan
Prosper Six died at his Sheridan home Friday night at age eighty nine. Funeral was held Sunday afternoon. He left Tipton decades ago and was a longtime druggist known as Doc. Survived by three children including Geo Six, former Tipton clerk of the court, and by a late wife who was a Deakyne daughter of R. B. Deakyne of Tipton.
