Griffin Isolated by Wabash Floods After Tornado
Evansy Le Indiana March 28 Griffin village struck by tornado and fire last Wednesday with at least 58 dead. Flood waters from the Wabash and streams cut off entry from three directions while supplies for 400 residents are moved by gas car from Barrett Station to the desolated town. Governor Jackson inspected the area and considers a special legislative session for rehabilitation funds as Red Cross workers and National Guardsmen aid the survivors.

A Lebanon resident reported 78 baby chicks missing and suspects theft. Auto collision injures two men near Ward Zendle Parcels
Two young men suffered injuries in a late night crash south of Ward Zendle Parcels at 931 East Walnut street. Alonzo Parker aged 54 formerly of near Mechanicsburg was found dead in his Richmond Maryland home. Coroner K Edgar Bond ruled death by his own action noting Parker tied a cloth over his mouth and used anesthetic. Mrs Parker a former Nora Wilds of Kirklin and two sons survive the family notes relation to George W Davis of this city.
