Kirklin Man Hurt By Vicious Horse
Dr Mount of Kirklin transported Ashbury Foster aged 51 of Kirklin to Frankfort after a horse kicked and trampled him Monday afternoon. X rays showed both bones in Foster’s right leg broken between ankle and knee with extensive cuts from the hoofs. Foster, who lived near Kirklin, was knocked down and trampled as he entered a bam in an effort to calm the horse. Foster is believed to have serious injuries.

Mrs John Languell Dies After Stroke Near Kirklin
Mrs John Languell 62 of Kirklin area died Sunday at her son's home after a paralysis stroke Saturday evening at eight. She was in good health prior, visiting her son Hugh Languell when struck and died despite medical care. Survived by four sons and five daughters.
