Thaddeus Hedge Sues for Divorce in Hendricks Court
Thaddeus Hedge of four miles northwest of North Salem filed for divorce from Goldie R. Hedge in Hendricks circuit court. They wed October 29, 1921 and separated March 38, 1928. He alleges she left without cause and has lived apart since, with his disability leaving him unemployed. He was formerly a student.

Lightning Does Severe Wreck on Williams Farm Home
A thunderstorm struck Curt Williams's farm home, one and a half miles northeast of Elizaville, pulverizing furniture except the kitchen range and piano. The bolt tore through the east flue, flashed down the chimney, under floors, ripping plaster, lifting floors from joists, scattering furnishings, and leaving a skeleton frame with roof shingles ripped away. Mrs. Williams, Romey Clemens, and his son were stunned but unharmed. Hundreds visited and called it one of the strangest lightning wrecks in the county.

New Stamp Issue Begins April 15 With Harding Portraits
The United States post office will issue new stamps starting April 15 to match the rate changes. The Harding portrait appears on a 2 cent and a 1 ½ cent stamp with additional 15 cent special delivery and 20 cent express stamps in matching designs. The 15 cent special delivery and 20 cent special delivery will apply to parcels up to two pounds and over ten pounds respectively.
