John Randall of Zionsville was elected president of the Central Indiana Advisory Council on Aging at a Red Cross Chapter House meeting. Area 8 counties include Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan and Shelby. Robert Oldham of Westfield became vice president and Mildred Gilmore of Indianapolis secretary. Parking Prohibited Along Parade Route
Chief of Police Jim Stout announced no parking along the Fourth of July Parade route after midnight Thursday. The parade starts at 1 30 p.m. Friday from Lebanon High School lot. Parking bans cover North Outer Drive North Meridian Street North Street East Street Washington Street and Essex Drive. The parade ends at the high school. A July 4 change adds a dance at the old Junior High gym 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. admission 50 cents Bodacious provided music.

Indiana State Highway Commission approved a deck reconstruction project for a bridge on I-65 west of Lebanon over Prairie Creek and the Penn Central Railroad in Boone County. E H Hughes Co Inc of Jeffersonville won with 308970 dollars. The job includes deck rebuild and a bituminous overlay with completion by November 15, 1975. Traffic will run one lane each direction during work.

Hijacker Drives Greyhound Forty Miles Then Crashes Police Cars
In Montville Connecticut a Greyhound bus was hijacked by Joseph Peppers 28 of Far Rockaway New York. He claimed to be the reincarnation of John F Kennedy and attempted world rule. After scuffling with passengers he drove to New York City bound I 95. Police pursued and his bus rammed two patrol cars at Branford toll. Peppers was uninjured while other passengers left the scene and continued their trip. Bond was set at 10000 and he was admitted for mental evaluation at Norwich Hospital.
