Two Young Girls Admit Vandalism at Church
In Indianapolis two young cousins aged seven and nine admitted causing about 1000 dollars of damage Thursday at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Marion County. They broke windows tore fixtures smashed a Bible poured green ink on it and also vandalized a private home. Parents were ordered to bring them in for further questioning and may be liable for damages.

Three-Death Crash Raises Indiana Toll to 645
The state report records three more deaths after a multi-vehicle crash near Indianapolis and Anderson. Floyd Jones 29 of Indianapolis Dennis Warren 29 of Terre Haute and his four year old son Daniel died in the wreck. Jones wife Patsy 28 and their three children were hospitalized in serious condition. Sylvester Spencer 73 of Indianapolis died in a nursing home after earlier fatalities. The crash involved a car leaving the road hitting a steel traffic sign and occurred on an interstate north of U.S. 40 in Marion County.
