Funeral for William Swails to be held at Walnut Street Baptist
After a seven week illness with tuberculosis, William Elmore Swails died at 2 20 Tuesday night at his daughter's home in the city. Born September 11 1862 in Decatur County Indiana he was long a resident here before eight years in Indianapolis. Survived by wife Eilean Leap and children Jesse Criswel Ernest Fred Ruth Russel Forest Francis and twins Ruth Russel Forest and Francis the funeral will be at Walnut Street Baptist Church at 109 Thursday with Rev BE Williams. Interment at Robinson Cemetery.

Moss and Arbogast Fined Twenty Days In Jail
William Moss and Jesse Arbogast were arrested at Hobo Camp near the stock yards on intoxication charges. They were arraigned in circuit court and fined $1 with costs plus 30 days in jail. If fines remain unpaid, they face 40 days in county jail. About five were at the camp. three fled as police arrived. The two men were reportedly heavily intoxicated.

New York June 30 Thomas B McBurie a policeman of the Sheens head bay station was killed instantly when a large automobile traveling at fifty miles an hour left Ocean avenue, crashed into a ditch and overturned pinning the occupants beneath the wreckage.
