Boone county quota under call No 858 for entrainment to Camp Taylor during a five day period beginning July 22 is forty six. This number was fixed in an official order received by the local conscription board today.
L S Page of North Salem, president of a threshermen’s organization in Hendricks County, announced that the group fixed threshing prices for its territory at a recent meeting. The new rates are 8, 5 and 10 cents for wheat oats and rye, replacing the former 10, 5 and 12 cents.
