Lowell Manson Tilson former supervisor of music in Lebanon city schools now with Connorsville schools was elected treasurer of the State Music Teachers Association at its thirty fifth annual session in Elkhart Indiana. He was named to publicity committees for the next convention with Winona Lake Gary Logansport among possible sites for 1913. Boone County Circuit Court Adjourns For Summer Vacation
The April term of the Boone circuit court adjourned today and will resume the second Monday in September. Judgment was rendered for the plaintiff in the dispute of William Hine versus Cornelings Shoemaker et al to quiet title. In Herbert Smith et al versus Predereve Steenbarger, judgments were rendered for two plaintiffs, Mrs. Joseph Cox of Lafayette and her daughter Mrs. C Meshes, who traveled home today.

Mrs Hall Dies of Heart Attack at 54
Mrs Hall died suddenly at 10 30 Friday morning of organic heart trouble at her home northeast of Dover. She was 54 and survived by three children and three half sisters, with funeral Sunday at two from the Porter Christian Church and burial at Maple Lawn Cemetery Thorntown.

GYGLIST CAUGHT BY SHANK 15 SENTENCED
Harry Archibald of Jamestown Indiana stole a bicycle from a shop. He was found by Mayor Shank of Indiananotts and ordered to 240 days in the Indianapolis workhouse. In court in Indianapolis he was fined 100 dollars and costs and given 180 days. He rode the bicycle to Jamestown to sell it and was arrested by Jamestown’s town marshal. Archibald’s workhouse sentence rose after he did not pay the fine.

Rabid dog kills livestock near Lebanon
A rabid dog bit two cows and a calf owned by Jesse Lane east of Lebanon about a month ago. They were killed that day by order of Dr. Philips of Sheridan after the animals developed hydrophobia.

Mechanicsburg Storm Damages Homes and Church
A severe electrical rain storm struck Mechanicsburg yesterday afternoon at 9 10 causing major damage. Lightning hit Wilbur Warren’s residence tearing siding shingles and plaster while insured for about 100 dollars. The Methodist church also suffered heavy roof damage from the bolt as the town endured a heavy hour long downpour.

Early Judge Cowan to Attend Court House Dedication
The recall of former judge Lorenzo Daugherty who led the common pleas court for Boone and Montgomery counties from 184% to 1958 recalls the first brick railroad here built during his tenure. Daugherty, father of Mrs. B. S. Bigs, and kin of Mrs. ET. Tana Mee, daily and Curt Daugherty, capt. C. P. Rodman, aged 77, has witnessed four Boone county courthouses.
