A three car crash occurred in front of the Auto Inn garage on North Lebanon street yesterday at about 4 30 PM. Two new Fords and E A Armstrongs Overland were involved causing substantial damage with no injuries. The Overland driver moved from the garage as a Ford hit from the south side, sending the vehicles into a tangle and each car faces repairs.
Federal food administrator for Indiana Dr Harry F Barnard directs counties to implement a system of listing flour and sugar sales to individual consumers. Dealers must keep daily stock and sales records starting July 1 or soon after. willful evasion could trigger prohibition orders ending federal licenses. County administrators told to cooperate to avoid cross county conflicts.
A delegation of Sheridan carpenters left Monday for work in the ship yards at Newport News Virginia. Ed Mann, L. F P. Smith, Ed Lovell, Willis Collier, Ellis Hiatt, Hugh Dick and T. J. Malott join the crew. All are married with families and Malott serves on the Town Board.

The two year old son of Dr Dan Pollom and Mrs M R Pollom died at their Thorntown home at noon yesterday after one day illness. Survived by four sisters Lucile 13 Maxine 11 Imogene 9 and Madeline 7. Funeral from the Pollom residence Saturday at 10 a m Rev Callahan officiating. Interment Maple Lawn Cemetery Thorn Town.
Rev. R. H. Kent, pastor of the First Baptist church, has been selected to join an army chaplaincy. He received orders to report at Camp Taylor for five weeks of training, with assignment possible upon completion. He is Lebanon’s second minister to enter war service, following Rev. Charles A. Parkin of the Methodist church who entered Y M C A work.
