Dozens of Pleasure Boats Drift After Dock Collapse
In Cincinnati, 50 to 100 pleasure boats were set adrift when a marina dock collapsed amid floodwaters on the Ohio River. Several boats sank, others were corralled by barge boats and tied along the shore. The dock drifted downstream toward Ashland Oil Co loading and toward Markland Dam, with authorities from Coast Guard, county and city agencies coordinating the response. No dam danger reported, but boats could be damaged.
