Nelson Appointed To Planning Commission As Gillan Rezoning Still Unresolved

Boone Man Killed In Marion County Crash
A Lebanon resident, Robert Earl McPeake, 30, died in a fiery I-465 crash near Allisonville Road in Marion County after colliding with Lawrence E. Lawhead, 19, of Indianapolis. McPeake’s car skidded 541 feet before rolling down an embankment and bursting into flames, while Lawhead sustained four vertebrae fractures. An Indianapolis motorist was injured. The wreck occurred at 8:24 p.m. Two drivers were alone in their vehicles. McPeake’s body was taken to a funeral home as investigations continued. Police noted prior incidents in Indiana that month.
