Deputy Sheriff John Denney said losses ranged from 400 to 500 dollars. The theft was found by city police patrolling the area who spotted missing wheels.

Jailed And Fined For Threats On Chief Of Police
Gary Indiana Wayne Carlson 18 Hobart Township was sentenced to 10 days in jail and fined 150 dollars and costs for taking part in a threat against Police Chief James Hilton. Carlson and Keith Maisel 18 were arrested after three teens threatened to kill Hilton in a restaurant for ending a prior fight. Maisel was fined 125 dollars and costs.

Two Nabbed in Extortion Plot at Lambert Airport
ST. LOUIS authorities say Thomas W. Phillips and Mrs. Jean Alec Williams, both of Indianapolis, were arrested by FBI agents after extorting $25,000 from a Fulton businessman.
