The Raymond D Keeley damage case against T H I E Traction Co settled in Boone Circuit Court with Keeley receiving 1500 after four years of litigation. Judge John W Hornaday entered the judgment. Keeley, who sued for 25000, was burned when a radio pole wire touched a high tension line on South C street in 1926 as he adjusted a guy wire. His complaint claimed two fingers were badly burned and amputated.

Life term prisoner in Michigan City commits suicide

Endurance Plane City of Chicago Dashes Through Fuel Leak
Chicago June 26 The City of Chicago endurance plane, on its fifteenth day aloft, faced a leaking gasoline tank in the left wing necessitating nocturnal refueling. Pilots John and Kenneth Hunter reached 847 hours, with 74 hours remaining to tie the world record set by St Louis Robin. Walter and Albert Hunter aided in the night refueling, delivering gasoline and oil to sustain operations until morning. A repair of the damaged tank was planned pending fuel contact today.
