Mrs. Emma Miller died last evening at her brother’s home in Ladoga after a lingering illness described as consumption of the bowels. She was well known in the area. The funeral is set for eleven tomorrow at Old Union church with Rev. A. Brown officiating, burial in Old Union cemetery.
Dr Hanley, pastor of East Rod Baptist Church in Cleveland, who spoke at the last brotherhood banquet, has received and accepted a call to lead a new church in Providence Motier. This marks a significant move in his ministry within the local religious community.

Omterasna Indiana June 26 A fraternal lodge room meeting at Dibble last night ended in a fatal shooting. Howard was killed and A Belfer wounded in a confrontation with a 5 man assailant. Belfer later died of his injuries. Location and specifics unclear due to fragmented report.
