Seven Mile Bike Race Field Off in Lebanon
Lebanon's seventh annual Fourth of July bike race drew hopefuls from Boone County with 18 entries already filed and more expected in the final week. Open to boys 10 to 15, entrants travel by van to Elizaville for a 11 a.m. start and race toward Lebanon, with prizes for all participants and officials noting the event as a parade accompaniment.

Troop Plane Crashes Killing Seven Soldiers at Ridgeway
