The Lafayette Courier reports a Big Four official says the line will be double tracked from Indianapolis to Lafayette within eighteen months with Whitestown work starting soon. Zionsville will lose passenger service as curves are removed and the line shortened. Interchange expansion follows toward Cincinnati and Templeton as Lake Erie completes its line next year.

Nestesville Indiana June 25 Mrs Ross Newkirk was seriously injured and perhaps fatally after a Jersey cow attacked her in a barn yard while she tried to protect her child. The cow kicked and trampled her breaking her right arm in two places and dislocating and breaking the left collar bone. She suffered internal injuries.
