Indianapolis June 24 The State Supreme Court upheld the conviction of William Kleihege operator of Hammond theater for bombing the million dollar State Theater three years ago. He was fined $1000 and sentenced to two to fourteen years in the state penitentiary. The court denied his petition for a writ of error coram nobis.

Lightning damages Geo McColley home
The home of George McColley at 606 South Lebanon street was struck by lightning during a severe storm Tuesday morning. The strike burned the rear wiring and furnace fixtures, caused no injuries, and the McColleys only learned of the damage in the afternoon after insurance covered the losses.
