World War veterans are urged to convert their term insurance to permanent policies by the absolute deadline of Saturday July 2. FLIER KILLED IN PLANE CRASH NEAR MUNCIE
Pyrah over Liam Murphy of Muncie died in a late Thursday crash near here. Clifford Helms, also of Muncie, was severely injured while learning to fly. The old Jenny type aircraft failed to clear power lines on takeoff. Murphy died from burns in the explosion. Helms had under 50 flying hours and bought the machine to fly back to Muncie.

Maurice De La Tour a 46 year old New York City actor admitted firing three Catholic churches in Indianapolis in as many days. He said he was part of a five man gang investigated by Chief of Detectives Claude Wi. J Elmer Rhea longtime Adler Co yard goods superintendent in Indianapolis died just before noon at his daughter's home 4717 Guilford avenue. He was ill about three weeks and died of smallpox. He had been a Lebanon resident only a few years, arriving from Marion in 1922. He was 55.
