Boone Hamilton Want Woodruffs
Sheriff Ramsey raided a northern Hamilton county tract and confiscated a large copper still with fifteen gallons of whiskey, six quarts of white mule, and a barrel and a half of corn mash. Mrs Georgia Woodruff and her son Charles leased the site and fled during the raid. Sheriff Sandlin holds a warrant for Charles. Woodruff had prior liquor charges in Boone Circuit Court.

Private funeral services for George W. Huggins of Indianapolis were held this afternoon from the residence at 3300 Bethelay. He passed away Friday morning. Hicks Speedboat Sets New Record in Danville Race
The Hicks Boat Co of this city won the five mile Danville Illinois race in two sections, setting a Class C Division Two record with 38.8 miles per hour average. Bleitzen Jr hydroplane owned by Bernard Batty Indianapolis driven by Dale Miller led by half a mile at finish. Hicks boats have won all Class C races this season including Terre Haute May 30 and Indianapolis June 1.
