Norman Lindsay among six boys hurt in an east of Lebanon accident. Lindsay’s injuries are not serious a broken collar bone and head bruises are reported. Two others suffered minor bruises while one was bruised about the hip.
City circular warns dog owners to obtain annual licenses by July 1. Tags available at the city building. penalty will be exacted for noncompliance. City Clerk William F Smith signs the notice.
A Red Cross meeting will be held at the Sahurhos convention hall inside the court house tonight at o clock. All captains and their teams are expected to attend.
Local grocer Doyle announces availability of fresh and cured meats. Advertisement notes contact by phone 625 and street address 6-22 20 for orders and selections.
A newspaper ad touts Hall's Catarrh Cure as a constitutional treatment. It claims the medicine cures catarrh by acting on the blood and mucous surfaces and offers a $100 reward for any failure to cure. The ad notes endorsements by F J Toledo and Toledo druggists.
Clifford Tuggle of Company H arrives in East Chicago to spend Sunday with friends and relatives. He is the son of Reverend J M Tuggle and his leave of absence lasts until tomorrow afternoon.
Local residents Dr. Guy Schultz Elza Rogers Dr. H L Baker and Frank Proctor visited the Fort Harrison officer training camp yesterday and heard Governor Stanley of Kentucky deliver his address to the cadets. They also witnessed the young officers parade.
The Rt Rev Herman Joseph Alerding bishop of the Ft Wayne diocese announced Rev Leo Faurote of St Marys Huntington has been named pastor of St Josephs church here to succeed Father Connelly who will move to Indiana Harbor church.
A local church hosts a 7:20 union Red Cross meeting led by Rev. Sweeney of Col Noobs. A student-led Boys PA meeting features Misses Nellie Pharo Weller Mav Rastils Virginia Brown and Horace W copa, with officers including Helen Fuller and Tier Reynolds.
