Richard Heady Dies in Perry Township at 68
Richard Van Buren Heady, a Perry township farmer born Feb 22 184? in the county, died at 5 45 am after four years illness from chronic intestinal nephritis. He leaves a wife and seven children. Funeral Friday. Heady was 68 years four months and one day old. He married Oct 7 1862 at Green Castle. The obituary notes his long life and surviving family.
