Indianapolis June 22 The new life insurance department of the Indiana Farm Bureau Federation has written over 100000 in business since its organization. H R Nevins of Indianapolis heads the department. Training schools for 250 farmer representatives in ten districts closed last week. The service is offered to members and others in agriculture.

Sinclair granting a six month contempt sentence to run concurrently with his remaining 90 day contempt sentence for the senate. With good behavior time, Sinclair could be released December 22. Ollie Gets Five Pounder Corncob Bobber

Commander Ramon Franco and three companions landed safely in the Azores at 8:22 AM Azores time after leaving Los Alcazares Aerodrome Cartagena Spain at 5 PM Spanish time yesterday. They plan to refuel and inspect before continuing to New York via Halifax then Washington and back to Spain. Weather permitting they hope to depart for Halifax at 7 PM Azores time.

Razing of Elevator Building Removes City Landmark
The southeast corner of Meridian and Superior streets loses the oldest commercial building in the city after more than fifty years of service. The site hosted a woolen mill in the 1860s, then a pump concern and stave factory before W L Higgins built the elevator in 1876. Ownership passed through Bowser and Riley, Jenkins and Cohee, Shirley and Jones, Boone Grain and Supply Co., to current owners Herr, Kirtley and Shd han. The town once had flat rails and the high school site was a grist mill nearby.

Rites Held For William J. Darnell At Jamestown
Funeral services were conducted at the home of his daughter Mrs. Gene Camplin for William J. Darnell a longtime Jamestown resident and former Boone County prosecutor who died at 71. Rev.
