Indiana Governor announces 10.5 million deposit for property tax cut
Gov. Bowen said 10.5 million from higher sales tax revenue has been deposited with the state treasurer toward a 260 million fund to cut Indiana property taxes by 20 percent next May. The first deposit was made by Revenue Commissioner Donald Clark, with more funds expected to meet the goal. The session drew about 1,500 Hoosier business leaders to review the plan.

St Josephs Pastor Receives Fulltime City Post

Nixon Finance Group Guilty Of Not Reporting Vesco Aid
The Nixon reelection finance committee was found guilty on three counts of violating campaign disclosure laws for failing to report a $200,000 cash contribution from Robert L. Vesco.
