Rotary members prepare to host 28 international students arriving from Belgium Germany Japan Switzerland and Sweden among others. George Brock Expires At 73 In Indiana Township

Clara Turner Dies Monday in Frankfort Home

Clara Turner, a Hoone County native born January 11, 1898, died Monday evening at her home in Frankfort after two years of ill health. She was a member of the Dog Christian Church. Surviving are two sons, Zenas at home and Jewell. Her husband was the late Alone Turner.

Boone Native Found Dead Near Sitco Farm

William Bert Roberts a Boone Coury native was found dead near his farm on Sit 4% git. He died apparently of a barry j Be was born May 1 1881, married December 16 1921 in Lenanes to Lesse Parrish. Survivors include a daughter Mrs Este Gauthreaux of Wonderlake, several nieces and nephews, eight brothers preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held Thursday at My ety Mortuary with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit at the mortuary prior to services.

Grant funds new heart research center at IU Medical Center

A 4.38 million grant from the National Heart Institute will establish a heart research center at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.
