Trucks Crash Blocks U S Highway 52 Chickens Spill
A semi overturned on U S Highway 52 north blocking both lanes for six hours. It dumped about 20 000 dollars worth of frozen chickens on the road and caused 14 000 dollars in the truck. Driver Ernest Cravens 19 of Soddy Tenn escaped with minor injuries. Traffic rerouted until 2 p m. Cravens fined 27 25 for reckless driving.

Ex-con charged with murder in girl’s stabbing death
Joseph William Kunz 28 of Evansville faces first degree murder charges in the death of four year old Tonja Marie Perisho of Rosedale. Kunz, released May 18 from federal prison for forgery, led officers to the stabbing site near the Ohio River before calling police from a shopping center parking lot.
