Barber Convicted of Bank Robbery Charge
Jasper Indiana June 19 Clint Brooks a Mattoon barber today stood convicted of bank robbery in Dubois Circuit Court after a one hour deliberation. Jury found Brooks guilty of participating in the $2700 holdup of the German American Bank on March 10. Brooks accomplice Monte Crist of Illinois will be tried later as Judge John L Summer announced he would pass sentence.
