Tragic Interurban Crash Injures Zionsville Rider
C S Bradlick thirty year old baker and passenger on a Northwestern interurban car from Indianapolis was seriously injured when a trolley pole jumped a wire at a curve near Zionsville. The pole tore a hole in the roof of the vestibule and struck him on the head as he fell unconscious in the aisle.

Backed Into Ditch Injures Man Near Elizaville
Charles Kern of near Elizaville was injured and his new car damaged when backing from a field on Noblesville Road slid into a ditch. The vehicle dropped about eight feet, with Kern suffering a serious arm injury. Mrs. H N Coons left for commencement week with daughter Fern Coons, who graduates at Ann Arbor on the 36th. Coons was joined by Miss Magdalene Mitchell, remaining in Ann Arbor to Saturday, then Lansing to visit her brother Baren Mitchell, a Lansing college professor. Upon return, Miss Coons will conduct summer German and French classes.

Col Ed Ritter Retires After Long Reform Career
Col Ed F Ritter longtime attorney and reformer retires from practice on his 75th birthday. He plans to wind up his affairs in Indianapolis and depart June 28 for Gettysburg as a guest of Indiana survivors. He will then join his ill wife in Milford Conn indefinitely. Governor Halston Named Kentucky Thoroughbred Steed
