Semi Tractor-Destroyed Line Damages Home in Martinsville
A large semi driven by Clarence L. Thatcher of Martinsville knocked down an electric line and meter at 1203 South Lebanon Street, tearing the line feeding the Jack A. Taylor home. Utilities crews repaired the damage after the 18 foot high truck passed through town. No charges were filed. Early today Houston Zerl Parons of 324 Sycamore was arrested on Clinton County warrant for no operator's license and failure to appear.

A county crash killed 16 year old Robert Ray Fisher of Whitestown and injured two teens, Robert Little and Phyllis Lovell. Fisher, a Zionsville High junior, died of a broken neck and internal injuries after swerving to avoid a bicycle rider and striking a bridge abutment. Little suffered facial injuries and a fractured nose. Lovell had multiple contusions and internal injuries. The fatality toll for 1970 rose to six. Burial plans and service details are set in Boone County.
